At home I gathered the few necessary ingredients, then set out to give it a try without instructions (since none were included on the site).
I obviously won’t be selling these on etsy, but it was still a fun and doable project.
The days passed quickly at the coast. It was our final afternoon together when Marissa put her book down to ask, “Do you think we could do the craft you brought?” But of course! She and Cassidy got started first. These girls have excellent hammering skills from all the houses they’ve built in Juarez.
Then Bailey jumped in to help. He knows how to swing a hammer too.
Soon Erin (also a house builder)
and John (yes, John builds too)
stepped in to help Sage make one. (She’s also participated in two Juarez house builds, three if you include pre-birth.)
Eventually Bailey got inspired to make something for his girlfriend.
And in between my picture taking and cheerleading, I finished mine!
