Here’s the whole group—21 in all! They are family, not all related by blood but all by love and friendship.

They’ve met weekly for at least 10 years now with no end in sight. A few are part of the original family and a few are relative newcomers. When the majority turned 30 they all went to Disneyland and declared a celebration in Hawaii when they turned 40. How often do we say we’re going to do something ten years from “now” and actually do it?

Erin writes: “I recognize this is easier said than done, but please…find a community of people who will love you as you are, live with a purpose, and can laugh through great suffering. It can be 3 people or 20+ people. Keep showing up and your life will be changed forever. Someday, you can go on the most magical Hawaiian vacation with your crew to celebrate a decade of togetherness.”
