hodgepodge 001.2

A whole week has passed since Hodgepodge premiered. I know you’ve been waiting with bated breath for this week’s edition. What? You’ve already forgotten the cat standing on its hind legs for a full minute to see out the window? You must have a life. Good for you.

Well, I don’t (have a life), so I’m back to share some of the things I’ve found entertaining this week.

This might be something you’ll try in your next life.

There is always more than one way to solve a problem

There’s more than one way to skin a cat. I wonder how long you’ll linger, rewatching this smart toddler solve the shape toy.

Speaks for itself.

First time in a l-o-n-g time. Yippee!

This is an ad and it might be very old and it might promote something untoward. Still, I like it.

These two pictures lit up my phone when Erin Macy took time away from a girlfriends getaway to share a meal with the Arizona Andersons and Carlsons. I dearly love blended family connections.

I hate snakes at least as much as you hate snakes, so this video might give you deep satisfaction.

And now to calm your nerves . . .

Discovered in our neighborhood on our walk to church.

I inherited an interest in England’s royal family from my mother. I remember when Queen Elizabeth (or soon-to-be) visited Chicago in the early 1950s, hearing her marvel at HRH’s stately presence (as though she were royalty). We all drove to the big city from Wheaton (a suburb) and fought the crowds for a glimpse.

Four gens.

It’s been a very long while since I’ve seen or read anything about Anne so was particularly interested to see this.

This is way cool!

You look weird

Have a great week!
