“new” wheels

People switch cars all the time. It certainly isn’t newsworthy. So I’ll just add this little spot so I can remember when it happened. A week ago my friend Jo stopped at my office door to chat a minute and mentioned she and Hank were buying a new car for their trip to California. I asked if they were trading in the old one or selling it. A day later we owned it! On Friday the parking lot looked like this:

And on Monday it looked like this:

Most of us buy newer but in our case we bought older—from 2006 to 2003. Now to find a buyer for our cute red Element.

YAY! We LOVE our Escape. It’s the perfect size, drives well, no big problems after 136K miles. I wish they still made this one so we could replace it when ours dies. Enjoy yours 🙂

You guys crack me up. I think you’ve gone through 4 cars and we’re still driving the ’92 Toyota Corolla which still runs like a top….it doesn’t look too good, but no one wants to steal it or break into it! 🙂
