You’re going to think I’m posting a bunch of pictures of our Macy granddaughters just to show off. Certainly not! It would never occur to me that our girls are cute enough to merit a post of their own. I don’t have a chauvinistic bone in my body.
Anyone who knows me will tell you I think all of my grandkids are perfectly average. So in my deep humility I share these few pictures of our weekend with Sage and Brynn (whose parents were working out of town and we totally won the toss to look after their girls).
Color us busy!
Grandma tip: When you’ve run out of entertainment ideas (and TV is not an option), tear a couple of pages out of the nearest magazine, cut four interesting shapes making a simple puzzle, let the entertainee gluestick the back side, and piece them on colored paper.
Someone needed to demonstrate how the bubble-producing lawn mower works, and Gum got elected. Consequently, our sidewalk got well mowed over the course of the weekend.
Oops. I almost felt a twinge of pride, but it’s under control. No worries.
This girl’s genetic grandmother Margaret-Rose would not be expected to be humble if she could see this picture of her precious granddaughter playing with the doll buggy she played with as a child. Priceless!
Last one. It’s kind of a puzzler. See if you can figure it out.
Is it time to go to bed yet? I’m exhausted.
What a treat to see those darling granddaughters. You are truly blessed.
