While the adults found something exciting to do on the 11th floor…
…the kids entertained themselves on the ground floor.
Ta da! Now maybe the horses are available.
They had a blast (though they’re still grumbling a bit about the residual effects).
The sand is very different from Oregon Coast sand.
Some relaxing for me.
And for the parents, some peace.
I had to include this lovely shot of the full moon against the black sky. How’d I do? I don’t s’pose it’ll win any prizes.
And this one of the infinity pool.
This morning I got to go shell hunting with Cass and her dad.
It’s hard to stand this close to the water and not get a little bit wet.
A complete surprise to all of us…via Facebook we learned our friends Heather and Justin Herr and their family were just down the beach from us.
We were packed up and ready to leave, so we had only a short time to catch up with everyone.
But before heading for the border, we stopped to shop on Puerto Peñasco’s “Rodeo Drive” for some sunglasses and a hat.
We didn’t have nearly enough time, but it will have to do, since two sons and one daughter-in-law-to-be are taking off tomorrow morning. I will remind myself of a favorite Dr. Seuss quote: “Don’t cry because it’s over; smile because it happened.”
But wait, it isn’t over! I get to stay with the Andersons till Monday! It’s all good.
