Right up front I’ll confess I got a little carried away by the bubbles. Even after much culling, I still have too many pictures to represent an activity that occupied only about a half hour of our time at the beach. But look how cool!
Wait. Before I post the pictures, I need to send you to the link I e-mailed John Macy prior to beach time, proposing a deal that I would gather all the materials if he would pull it off. Here’s how it turned out.
I love the look on Bailey’s face as he gets one going.
And the look on his face as it pops before it even launched. Can you see the fragments?
Now you can watch the kids getting the hang of it.
Meanwhile, Mauri was up on the porch shooting the bubbles. Pretty cool, you must admit! I wish these pictures had sound so you could hear all the cheering going on as the bubbles survived the nearby structures and floated up up and away.
This one captured the spectral colors.
These survived longer than most.
How could I cull this one?
Pete had to talk to this one.
I have to stop now, don’t I?
OK, one more.
That’s all, folks. But only because you insisted.
