He was remembering the good old days, not so very long ago, when he would have to drive down to the Barview store and point his car in just the right angle toward the ocean to get clear enough cell service to call me. It was either that or what he dubbed T-Mobile tide, when at the lowest tide he would walk toward China until he got enough bars.

So while he’s out there and I’m back here, I won’t have to worry about forgetting what he looks like.

    That’s great!!! When Steve was in Canon Beach for school this fall- we skyped a couple times. It was great- He took us around the apartment he was staying in- outside to look around- we even met Ben Staley on Skype (O: Here’s to conversations- face to face (:
